MC FITTI takes on Volkswagen New Touareg 2015
Volkswagen has recently introduced the facelifted version of the Touareg in Germany. According to the car manufacturer, the cheapest version of the model will be available for 52,125 euros. The model is coming with updated paint finishes and wheels for the exterior design and with a fresh cabin which includes new colors for the leather upholstery, redesigned controls and several other tweaks which should separate it from the current version. The entry-level 2015 Volkswagen Touareg is coming in with the 3.0 liter TDI V6 turbo diesel engine under its hood, which is producing a total of 201 HP, but for some extra cash, Volkswagen will also offer the new turbo diesel V6 with its 258 HP. If this doesn’t seem like enough for you, there is also a 4.2 liter V8 turbo diesel (800 newtonmeters – yes 8-0-0) available, with 335 HP and if you feel like “going green”, than you should choose the 3.0 liter V6 gasoline burner with an electric motor, in the Touareg Hybrid, coming in with 328 HP. Here you can enjoy a coasting function, which decouples the engine from the transmission to help reduce parasitic losses in the drivetrain and maximize efficiency. Enough of counting numbers, enjoy our interview with MC FITTI. From his early hours he uses the Touareg as a daily cruiser to catch unicorns. #einhornfang.
